About us

Working as a guide in California and Oregon, I often felt compelled to share more of the impacts of climate change in the areas where I worked. I could see the changes to our natural world but didn’t always feel ready to jump into discussion on the broader climate impacts. Then, during my Master’s program in Climate Science and Policy and as a Faculty in Meteorology, I honed my skills to further incorporate climate impact discussion in my guiding. I came to find that many other guides share my desire to effectively communicate the impacts of climate change and saw an opportunity for guides or anybody to gain empowerment to become effective communicators of these impacts.
